The people who pull the cable also run the network.

DSO Technologies is an IT and systems integration company in Pilesgrove, New Jersey. We wire the building, install the cameras and door controls, secure the network — then manage all of it every day after. One team. One number to call.

RTI Control — Main HouseConnected
One app, one remote, one system — no matter who made the equipment.

Two halves of the same job

Most technology companies do one or the other. They either install infrastructure and walk away, or they support systems somebody else installed and inherit the mess. We do both, which means nobody gets to blame the other guy when something stops working.

That covers business networks and the homes we automate alike: the same crew that runs the cable programs the control system and answers the phone two years later.

Where we spend our days

One app for the entire home

Your lights, shades, thermostats, music, cameras, gate, pool and theater were all built by different manufacturers, and every one of them shipped with its own app. RTI's job is to make that irrelevant.

We design and program RTI control systems that sit above every subsystem in the house and speak to all of them. One interface on your phone, on an in-wall touchpanel, or on a handheld remote that a guest can pick up and understand. Press Movie and the shades close, the lights dim, the projector wakes and the receiver switches inputs — because we programmed it that way, not because you configured a routine.

Control is processed locally, so the house keeps working when the internet doesn't — and there is no monthly subscription to keep your own lights working.

Things we put behind one interface
  • Lutron lighting
  • Motorized shades
  • HVAC & thermostats
  • Whole-home audio
  • Sonance speakers
  • Home theater
  • Surveillance cameras
  • Alarm panels
  • Smart locks
  • Driveway gates
  • Pool & spa
  • Irrigation
  • Landscape lighting
  • Garage doors
  • Streaming sources

If it speaks IP, serial, IR or a dry contact, it can usually be brought into the system. If it can't, we will tell you before you buy it.

One platform for cameras, doors and phones

We build all three on Ubiquiti UniFi. That is a deliberate standard, not a default — it means one console, one app, one support relationship, and a team that knows the platform deeply rather than passably.

UniFi Protect

Cameras that record locally to your own drives, with no per-camera licensing fee and one app covering every property you own.

Cameras and monitoring

UniFi Access

Cards, fobs and phone credentials, scheduled unlock and a full audit trail — with the door's video attached to every entry.

Door access control

UniFi Talk

Desk phones, softphones, auto-attendant and call routing administered in the same place as everything else.

Business phone systems

Four systems that usually mean four vendors, four portals and four renewal dates become one. Onboarding a new hire creates their network account, door credential and phone extension together — and one action removes all three when they leave.

How we start

The first two steps are free and carry no obligation. You will have a written scope and a real number before any work begins.

Walk the property

We look at what you have — racks, closets, cameras, cloud tenant, wiring — and ask what has been frustrating you.

Get a plan and a price

A written scope with options, priced clearly. If something can safely wait a year, we will say so.

Build it

Cabling, equipment and cutover scheduled around your hours. Labeled, tested and documented before we leave.

Keep it running

Monitoring, patching, help desk and a review each quarter so the plan stays ahead of the business.

Why people call us

One team, start to finish

The company that ran the cable manages the network. No coordinating three vendors to find out why the warehouse camera went dark.

Real Microsoft depth

Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Autopilot are daily work here, not something we subcontract out.

Automation with nothing up front

We scope integration projects with no upfront fee, so the work proves itself before it costs you anything.

You get a person

Local, small and reachable. You will know who is coming, and you will not wait on a ticket queue three states away.

Where we work

Common questions

Do we have to move everything to you at once?

No. Most clients start with one project — a cabling job, a security cleanup, or Microsoft 365 support — and expand once they have seen how we work.

How is managed IT priced?

A flat monthly rate, quoted per user or per device depending on which fits your environment. We quote it after the walkthrough so the number reflects your actual setup rather than an industry average.

Can you work with the equipment we already own?

Usually. If gear is still supported and doing its job, we keep it and document it. Anything past end-of-life gets flagged with an honest read on how urgent the replacement really is.

Do you handle both the wiring and the ongoing support?

Yes, and that is the main reason clients call us. We design and install the cabling, network, cameras and access control, then manage and secure all of it afterward. One company owns the outcome.

Do you work in homes as well as businesses?

Yes. We design and install RTI-based smart home control, distributed audio, lighting, shades and security for homeowners across South Jersey.

Let's look at what you have.

A walkthrough and a written scope cost nothing. You'll get a real number before anyone shows up with a ladder.
